Checkpoints are specific physical locations marked with a QR code that can be scanned using the Vismo Locate & Protect app. These are typically placed at key areas such as building entrances and exits, high-risk zones, laboratories, or secure rooms. Scanning a Checkpoint allows users to log their presence at a location, helping to improve visibility, safety, and compliance across an organisation.
You can download or re-download the QR code for any existing Checkpoint, including selecting from different file formats such as PNG or SVG.
Follow the steps below to access and download the QR code.
Step-by-Step Instructions
- Go to Account Settings
Navigate to Account Settings > POI Layers. - Select the Relevant POI Layer
Choose the POI layer that contains the Checkpoint.
Then click ‘Points’ in the toolbar at the top of the screen to view all POIs within that layer. - Open the POI for Editing
Locate the POI where the Checkpoint is stored.
Click ‘Edit’ in the toolbar. - Open the Checkpoints Section
In the POI edit screen, click the ‘Checkpoints’ tab in the toolbar. - Select the Checkpoint
Highlight the Checkpoint for which you want to download the QR code.
- Download the QR Code
- Click the ‘QR Code’ button in the toolbar.
- A preview of the QR code will appear, along with a Download button for saving it as a PNG file.
- To choose a different format, click the arrow next to the QR Code button and select your preferred option:
- PNG
- Large PNG
- SVG
