Viewing POI Layers on the Map
A ‘Point of Interest’ can be added to a location on the maps dashboard to help administrators gain a deeper understanding of a traveller’s location should an emergency arise.
From your Map Dashboard, click on the POI icon from the side panel on the left. All the POI Layers that you have permissions to view will display here.
Click on the POI Layer you wish to view on the map. The selected POI Layers on the list will highlight in blue and will display on the map. In this example, we have selected the "Hospital" and "Hotels" POI Layers.
All the POI's within the particular layer will display on the map with the configured colours and icons. Zoom in and out of the map to view multiple locations.
Clicking on the POI shape on the map will highlight it in yellow and reveal the details bar at the bottom of the screen.
Viewing Individual POIs within a Layer
Once the required POI Layers have been added to the map, you can view details about the individual Points of Interest within the layer. Click on POIs at the top.
All the POIs within the selected layers will list here. Select the POI to reveal the details about the POI at the bottom of the map.
Click on the Actions arrow and select Show on Map to view the particular POI on the map. In this example, we are viewing the Wakefield Hospital POI within the Hospital Layer.
