POI Layer Configuration
A point of interest (POI) shows what’s happening in real-time at specific locations. These can be vital in understanding how safe a user is. An example of this could be train stations or airports.
From the main configuration page, click on the POI Layers button to access these functions. This will open the POI editor page.
Click on New to create a new POI layer.
Enter the required details and tailor your POI layer.
Choose the name, set the applicable colour and select the required icon for the POI layer.
Click Save, to configure your POI.
To edit the POI layer, click on the POI layer until it highlights in blue. Click Edit to reopen the POI layer editor page. To delete a POI layer, click on Delete. To add permissions for specific groups to edit or view the POI, click on Permissions.
A new page will appear. Click on New, to add a groups permission. Click on the magnifying glass and select a group from the list. This will give the group you have chosen the rights to use that POI.
The group must be allocated permissions to View or Edit a POI.
- View – Allows the group to view the POI.
- Edit – Allow users within the group to view and edit the POIs.
Click on the down arrow under Permissions to assign the View or Edit permission.
To remove a permission entirely, click on the bin icon.
Remember to click Save along the top bar of the screen to confirm your configuration.
