The security settings within the Vismo Portal enables you to change the password settings for the account.
To access security settings, from the Main Configuration page click on Security.
The password settings for the account will the display.
Change the password settings for the account as required.
- Minimum Length - This is the minimum length of the password. Use and + and - icons to configure the minimum length. Note: The minimum is 4 characters.
- Disallow Common Words - Turn the switch to Yes or No as appropriate.
- Requires Upper Case Character - Turn the switch to Yes or No as appropriate.
- Requires Lower Case Character - Turn the switch to Yes or No as appropriate.
- Requires a Number - Turn the switch to Yes or No as appropriate.
- Requires Special Character - Turn the switch to Yes or No as appropriate.
Once configured, click Save at the top. This will change the password settings for the whole account.
