In device configuration, there is an option to adjust the impact of stationary mode on the number of location fixes Vismo receives for iOS devices.
Administrators have permission to modify this at either the group or overall account level.
Please note that any changes to stationary mode may affect battery life, as the frequency of location fixes will increase.
The following options can be selected:
- Normal – The device stops sending location updates when stationary and resumes once it starts moving. This helps conserve battery without losing much tracking accuracy.
- Enhanced – The device stops sending location updates after being stationary for a longer period. This saves more battery, while still tracking once movement resumes.
- Always On – The device continues to send location updates even when stationary. This uses the most battery but ensures constant tracking.
‘How to’ Steps:
- To find this, go to Account Settings > Device Configuration > Locating 'Apple iOS location mode'.
- Click the drop-down menu on the right and select ‘Changed’ to choose the location mode.
- Once you have selected the desired mode, click Save at the top of the screen.
