Definitions of Permissions

Account Administrator – Ability to add, edit, and delete users, groups, permissions, POIs, geofences, reference fields, and check-in sets. It also allows viewing audit logs, check-in reports, and configuring account security settings.

Add Users – Grants rights to add users to the Portal (for users who do not have the Account Administrator privilege).

Change Device Configuration – Allows editing how the Vismo application functions on the end user’s device.

Disable Privacy Mode – Allows removing Privacy Mode from a user’s device.
Note: “View Location” permissions must also be enabled for this permission to work.

Edit Assignments – Allows users to create, edit, view, complete, reopen, and assign users to an assignment. This is shown under the Services icon and is called “Active Assignments.” It also allows viewing completed assignments under Reports.

Edit Assignment Templates – Allows creating, editing, and deleting assignment templates.

Edit Broadcast Message Templates – Allows creating, editing, and deleting broadcast message templates.

Edit Users – Allows editing user details such as name, email address, phone number, etc. It also allows viewing device assignments and reassigning them (for users who do not have the Account Administrator privilege).

Group Administrator – Allows assigning events to groups and assigning event triggers to a group.

Incident Manager – Allows viewing and using the Incident Management dashboard.
Note: users must also have “View Location” permission to see user locations in the incident area.

Send Group Messages – Allows sending messages to users within a group.

Send Individual Messages – Allows sending messages to individual users.

Role – Selecting a role allows users to access the website/Portal.

Send Broadcast Messages – Allows sending broadcast messages.

Use Device Diagnostics – Allows viewing how the application is behaving on a user’s device. This is shown in the Portal under the Services icon and is called “Sent Error Reports.”

View Broadcast Messages – Allows viewing any broadcast messages that have been sent.

View Location – Allows viewing user locations, location history, and user details.

View Red Flag Alerts – Allows viewing Portal notifications and receiving email and SMS alerts from any user who has triggered a Red Alert.
