Iridium Extreme Configuration

Please follow the below steps to configure Vismo on your Iridium handset. Supported Model Types: Iridium Extreme 9575

GPS Options

Go to Menu/Setup/Location Options/GPS Options and configure the settings to the following:

  • GPS On/Off: Enabled
  • GPS Update Options: 5 minutes

Emergency Options

Go to Menu/Setup/Location Options/Emergency Options and configure the settings to the following:

  • Emergency Actions: Message Only
  • Message Recipient: +16093725677 – Clear all other numbers

Message Options

Go to Menu/Setup/Location Options/Message Options and configure you’re the settings to the following:

  • Select: Regular Updat
     - Update Frequency: 30 minutes
     - Update Recipient: +16093725677
  • Quick GPS List: +16093725677

Format Options

Go to Menu/Setup/Location Options/Format Options and configure the settings to the following:

  • Position: Decimal Degrees
  • Altitude: Meters

Invoking a Quick GPS Location Message

  1. Go to Menu/Setup/Location Options/Current Location.
  2. When a valid GPS fix is available select Share and push Quick GPS.
